Nóra Soós's recent work explores issues related to the culture of memory, with a strong focus on problems that have occurred in the past but seem to be recurring in Hungary today.  On her canvases, the resonances of our shared past and present are simultaneously washed together and become sharply defined, thanks to the transparent, multi-layered figurative style that has long been a part of Nóra Soós' oeuvre.
