Art and Antique 2024

The Art and Antique Budapest, Hungary's largest fair of classic and contemporary fine arts, will open its doors for the sixth time from February 29 to March 3, 2024, at the Bálna Budapest Event Center. The event will feature nearly forty renowned auction houses and galleries, including the Faur Zsófi Gallery.
The Faur Zsófi Gallery will welcome visitors at its nearly 100-square-meter exhibitor stand, number 9, located at the main entrance of the fair. The stand, furnished with pieces from Forma Boutique, will showcase the works of seventeen artists represented by the gallery, including paintings, sculptures, and photographs from notable representatives of Hungarian and international contemporary art. During the fair, the latest art publication by photographer Tamás Dobos, titled W, will be available, including a limited edition, numbered and signed with a photo print.

The history of the exhibition dates back to 1994, and since 2019 it has been known as Art and Antique, showcasing contemporary artworks and antiques. In addition to the artworks, visitors can enjoy a variety of programs, lectures, and guided tours. As is tradition, the online charity auction held on the Axioart platform will feature items donated by the exhibiting galleries, with the proceeds benefiting the Foundation for the Opera House Ballet Students.
