Art & Antique 2025
Art fair and exhibition space
Hungary’s Largest Classical and Contemporary Art Fair, Art and Antique Budapest, Opens Its Doors for the Seventh Time
From February 6–9, 2025, Art and Antique Budapest — Hungary’s largest fair for classical and contemporary fine art — will take place at the Bálna Budapest. Among the many prestigious galleries represented at the event is the Faur Zsófi Gallery.
At this event, featuring over forty of the most renowned auction houses and galleries, the Faur Zsófi Gallery will once again welcome visitors and the general public at its nearly 100-square-meter exhibition stand located at the main entrance of the fair. The prominent stand, furnished by Woodelier, will showcase the works of fourteen artists represented by the gallery — a selection of outstanding Hungarian contemporary artworks including paintings, sculptures, and photographs. Several special features will enrich the gallery’s offerings during the fair:
- A catalogue of works from painter József Bartl (1932–2013) has been published in connection with the exhibition The Motifs of Identity, presented at the Ferenczy Museum Center in Szentendre (September 14, 2024 – February 2, 2025). Following its debut on January 23 in Szentendre, the catalogue will also be available at the Faur Zsófi Gallery stand in Budapest.
- Photographer Tamás Dobos’s album titled W will also be available, including its limited, numbered edition featuring a photographic print.
