Budapest Contemporary 2023

At the BUDAPEST CONTEMPORARY stand, we will offer a contemporary cross-section of works by renowned Hungarian artists represented by the gallery, as well as international artists - paintings, sculptures, photographs - who respond to current artistic issues with different approaches, but all with sensitivity.

Out of the exhibiting artists, the Austrian artist Alois Mosbacher (b. 1954) stands out: his oeuvre consists of snapshots as intimate and insightful experiences of nature - figuratively depicting either fauna and flora or objects -, which place the current human condition in the foreground. His most recent large-scale exhibition was on show for 7 months at the Belvedere21 contemporary exhibition space of the Belvedere Museum from Vienna, celebrating the seemingly ordinary reality with works overarching four decades.
