ARTISTIC STATEMENT

I am deeply fascinated by connections, systems, and networks in various forms—whether in human relationships, the intricate structure of the psyche, the pathways of the nervous system, or emotional bonds. This interest extends to forms in which these connections become tangible and visible, such as the venation of insect wings, vascular networks, or botanical structures. All my works revolve around this theme. It is incredible how nature has solved these connections, and I further add a conceptual layer focusing on those links that are imperceptible or only visible under specific conditions. My sculptures reinterpret and magnify natural forms many times over, drawing from the softest, most delicate phenomena. At the same time, they take shape in one of the hardest, most rigid, and traditionally masculine materials—steel. The physically demanding process of sculpting steel creates an exciting tension with the lightness of the forms and the sensitive balance that most of my works strive to establish.
