SOLSTICE - A joint exhibition of artists from Wrocław Academy of Fine Arts and Budapest.

This year marks the sixth edition of the international exhibition series Hello Wrocław. Hello Wrocław 2016 will showcase the work of artists from Wrocław and Budapest in a group exhibition. The theme of their work is the interpretation of the phenomenon that is the solstice. In this context, the title reflects the process of destabilization, constant change, and mobilization, which may contain the tense atmosphere of a future crisis. The fluctuation of social and individual processes means its protagonists will be exposed to trials and tribulations. The symbolism of the solstice is paramount, as the most crucial question for the participants is where they stand during the transition. Has the moment of change arrived, or is our society on the brink of it? The Polish and Hungarian artists will explore this question from the perspective of their work.
